Just finished the premiere ... After viewing it, all I can think is that it is relatively the same as any one of a dozen "sex and thriller" series from the last decade. I.e. "50 shades of murder" type of thing. Acting, production, direction, etc., was all decent. But the writing... If a series must show the viewer what WILL happen in order to keep them interested in what is currently happening, it's poorly written. To be frank, remove all the "flash forward" scenes with the cops and the story is REALLY weak with thinly veiled attempts to mimic iconic romantic scenes from the past - e.g. Jack and Rose on the Titanic. Now I'm aware, I watched a single episode. But there was nothing in that single episode which made my want to watch any more episodes. It may get better as the episodes progress. I'll never know. Episode 1 did enough to kill any interest. Just seems like the same ol' same ol' lacking any creativity in the writing. There is nudity, foul language, and gore (but no violence) in the first episode.
