A House of Dynamite 2025 720p WEB-DL x264
The film unfolds from three different perspectives, trying to build a puzzle - but some pieces never quite fit. Bigelow experiments with multiple angles, but parts of it feel forced or déjà vu if you've seen her older work. Zero Dark Thirty was about the past. The Hurt Locker wasn't about the Iraq war, it was about the protagonist's personal drama.. This one? In the current context, it just feels like it's using our fear of nuclear war to sell tickets, not to say something original. It's visually strong, the actors do their job, and tension shows up here and there - but the movie never really hits the emotional punch I was hoping for. The film comes closest to being good not in its explosive moments, but in the quiet ones - when everything feels normal right before it all falls apart.
