I'll be honest on both fronts and tell you straight up. I'm a huge Alien fan. From the original, sequel and hell I even didn't mind number 3 and resurrection. I'm not a fanatical fan by any means but I enjoy sci fi sand horror so yeah these films were right to my alley To the tv series . I feel asleep half way into the second episode.... I never fall asleep unless the content genuinely does not stimulate my brain. It lacked atmosphere, strong characters and just felt genuinely cheap. They add in some occasional sound effects from the old trilogy and call it a day. This is more about the evolution of humans after death transferring their minds to an Android body. It should probably be better if they focused spend aliens a little bit more. Or want horrible, but if I'm falling asleep then in definitely is not good either. Watch with low expectations and you probably won't be disappointed. Hopefully it improves.
