I am actually surprised how much this series kept me interested. I watched it in one night, and must say Tyler Perry did a decent job with this, it was like one of those telenovelas. I was very iritated by the Mallory character and Kimmie's aswell. Kimmie was portrayed like a character who does not have a tounge to speak what is on her mind, without any personality. That was so sad. If I had a mom like she had, I would literally never looked back except my sibling. She was too pathetic, too shy, she barely confronted anybody. There were also parts that developed so slow and there was too much focus on parts that didn't matter at all unlike parts like the Rain character. Damn, that girl was forgotten so fast. No question. All in all, it is watchable and keeps you interesting so give it a try. A decent 6 because the acting was mediocre.
