The first episode showed promise, i think. I like the cast and the ongoing guest appearances between this show and Chicago Fire might do both series good (since Chicago Fire has lost its pace somewhat). For a pilot I found it less stiff than the average show. Police TV-series is a tough segment since they've been done so many times but I like the fast pace in the first episode and I look forward to seeing if they can follow up the underlying promise of good back-story. Jason Beghe's character starts out in an interesting place so character development there might be good if the writers handle it right. Same with Sophia Bush (Lindsey). The interaction between the actors might not be as "easy" as I would prefer it but it's just the first episode and I'm sure that it will smooth out in the upcoming ones.
