You WILL thank me later. There is really nothing to recommend this. It could/should have been decent - Capaldi/Jumbo are both great actors. The problem...the main/biggest problem is the writing - it's just terrible...it really really is. I have no idea how this is getting positive reviews from anyone - or perhaps I have no idea how anyone could honestly give this a positive review...which does provide an explanation, I suppose. The scenes are unbelievable...the dialogue moreso much of the time - people in given situations saying things they just wouldn't say...not believably anyway. I was one foot out the door after 15 minutes, and deeply regretted watching the whole episode. It's a shame for high quality actors to find themselves doing this kind of work - it really is - neither are to blame, but the stink of this may be hard to shift...it really is that bad.
