Dead Mans Wire 2026 720p WEB-DL x264
7.1/10 (Recommend) I don't know what to say about this was one. For what I've written below, I'm struggling to find the right words that balance everything out well. It was a good film, and enjoyable, despite the oh so boring pacing of the film. It wasn't very tension building, nor very frightening. It was more of play it cool and well live type vibe. One thing I really liked about the film was the cinematography. I liked how it was captured using modern day cameras, 70s era cameras, and news footage. And truthfully, you don't really know how well it was created until the credits roll when they show the original News story. The acting is good. Bill Skarsgård plays not a mentally ill guy really well, and Dacre Montgomery keeps level head despite having a dead man's wife around his neck. It's a slow burn of a film that you'll either enjoy or want to actually see the shotgun get off. The rest of the cast is equally good. I don't know much about the 70's but I was convinced that I was watching real people from the era. Overall, it all comes together as it should. Will it win any awards? Hard to say, but it tells a story of a man desperate to win out against THE MAN, and whether or not he wins or loses is on how you perceive his crime. That's it for now. Thanks for taking time to read my review. Happy watching and enjoy the show!
