As a HUGE X-Files and Fringe fan, I had high hopes for this one. The premise seems solid with strange happenings every time the "alien debris" shows up somewhere. It also has the conspiracy angle with a group doing nefarious things behind the scenes. So, it has all the earmarks for a good ongoing alien mystery and the age old "good vs evil" scenario. However, the lead actors are difficult to watch or even root for. We are barely shown any real background about them, and they have the personalities of "co-workers" and not an actual team who looks out for each other. Also, there is ZERO chemistry between the lead actors. Neither of them have any compelling traits to even warrant an interest in their well-being. Many of the scenes often feel like they are just "going thru the motions" and do not even feel genuine to an outside observer. It's just "Meh" for the most part.
