Thankfully not your usual procedural! The acting is good. Refreshing approach that doesn't follow the tired procedural storyline franchises. Character driven story lines are engaging and allow for many possibilities in the future. I've only watched three episodes so far and each one has started developing characters. The idea of a policeman living in the crime ridden area to connect with the people is interesting. The premise of the story at this stage is to restore some peace to the area. However the new police chief and the characters of the various beat cops and detectives is also a focus.
