I must admit, when Disney+ first recommended this to me I expected it to be an American show aimed at teens, and I immediately wrote it off. Thank goodness my curiosity later prevailed! Set in the UK, Extraordinary is centred around a group of 25 year olds in a world where everyone has powers... except Jen. Much the same energy as Sex Education and Derry Girls, it shows (mostly) real life situations, turned up a notch thanks to shape-shifting, super strength, teleportation, and flight. Each episode is around 30 mins and has a mid-credit scene. Great casting, writing, and relatable storylines make this a must watch for any fan of British comedy/drama. Relieved to see it has already been confirmed for a second season.
