It is never specifically about economic, nor political models and structures with Fallout. It always was and still is, about power. Power and control, and everything people are willing to do, or will do, and how far are they willing to go, or will go for power and control, attempting to achieve their goals masked under (self)righteousness, or ideology.., some even ready to "restart", "save", or destroy the world, only so can surface out on top of the "New World", or be "Kings of the Ashes".. Fallout as set in the US, particular (for the Fallout world) political and economic circumstances, will be, and are the part of more detailed view on the state of things, that Fallout indirectly (occasionally directly) tells us, is the state of things everywhere: factions, including those already in power, fighting for power and control, to gain, to keep, sustain, or extend, and that is why War. War never changes ...
