Low budget and full of cliches, but still, the personal interactions between the almost father and daughter, combined with the extension to vampire lore, should make it fun. Others have complained about the White Man's Guilt thing, but such complainers are merely deflecting genuine pangs of guilt, IMHO. Indigenous peoples (and this is a show about and starring indigenous peoples) kinda don't like what Whites did to them. Get over it. And enjoy the alternate perspective on a centuries old tale. Fearless Vampire Hunters meets Crocodile Dundee, perhaps?
