Apple has taken an interesting and sophisticated story and re-written it for the fleeting, present day, political garbage. You know what bad story writing is? Let's make our character special, they have powers, that's how they do what they do... they are the chosen one.... just terrible. Really missing the point of the source material in that regard. I would've much preferred the original Professor of History accompanying Hari Seldon, who was also a strong woman, highly education... written in 1985. Should've been more a Da Vinci Code vibe on this opening... this is just present day PC garbage, the timeless story is gone.
