After watching the first six episodes, I keep hoping this show will grow on me. I really liked the Georgie and Mandy's characters on "Young Sheldon", but the actors now seem to be playing caricatures of those characters - it's like they are silly versions compared to how they were played on "Young Sheldon". I don't know if they're overacting or playing for laughs - but something just isn't working. And definitely get rid of the canned laughter. It is annoying as he'll. Nothing against the actor but the character of Mandy's brother is useless and does not contribute to the story lines. Same goes for the shop mechanic.
