I have honestly been anticipating this movie since the first trailer came out and I can say that I think this movie is really great for the most part and I loved it! First let me start off by saying Sam Rockwell is an absolutely amazing actor and he truly delivers a great performance with so much emotional moments as well I think his character in this film is amazing. The rest of the cast is so much fun as well with Haley Lu Richardson, Juno Temple, Michael Peña all having some good performances for the most part and there's so many likeable characters in this movie it's great to see. I also loved how the movie does something sort of like the film weapons where we take breaks from the main part of the family to expand and explain the characters lore and backstories to how they got where they are now. The movie also tackles some important modern issues as well with technology, AI, school shootings, grief and so many more problems in our modern world and how people exploit these things to their advantages unfortunately. The story is also a ton of fun to follow along as well and it's a really interesting and intriguing story for the most part and I found myself to really resonate with it. It's great to see Gore Verbinski continuing his line of great directing with another great film like this with his amazing filmmaking style and the way the cinematography is used in the movie as well really helps it a lot. The movie also made me laugh so much throughout and there's some great comedy sprinkled throughout this movie as well. The movie loses me a little with the ending though because it felt rushed and our main villain didn't feel too fleshed out and I wish the movie would've expanded on this character more because he was super interesting but the movie doesn't expand the child's lore a whole lot. There's also a pretty decent twist near the end of the movie which caught me off guard as well which I really appreciated that near the end of the movie. Overall though this is a really good time and I couldn't recommend this enough!
