Since that Steve Huey character was introduced, the pace became slower, the cases more boring and it's sinking into a detective themed daytime drama series. Since that actor cannot be logically the cause for this, either he rode in on a package of changes that destroyed the show as it was, either it is a random face that fits these bad changes. Anyways, that is not the way to go for a series that had the oumph well translated from its French original to this American version, so it is a shame someone is ruining this show.
