I Can Only Imagine 2 2026 1080p WEB-DL DDP5.1 x264
I loved the first movie, and i actually found out they were making another movie when i went to a MercyMe concert last year. Of course when i saw them promoting a sequel at the show i was like ".....uh, what, why? Why would they be making another one?" Because that never seemed like the movie that would need a sequel. But fortunately it continues the real life stories of these musicians so i was at least settled like "okay they're not making up an entire story" And overall, yeah im really glad they made this movie because this is the logical progression these people would go through. You make a song that becomes a hit after overcoming your abusive parent. Then that one hir song fades out and he becomes a parent who doesn't have any examples on how to raise his child other than try not to get mad. And then bring in Tim who is the emotional anchor for everyone in the band. Really my only issue with the movie is that Sam and Bart's relationship, it's great what they do but, it's LITTLE bit rushed and Sam is somewhat portrayed as that kinda angsty teen, not overtly, but the way he constatly ignores Bart is done one too many times. Luckily its not overdone to where hes unlikable, no you actually DO like the son as a character, and the other kids too because they are a riot. Thats the other thing, this movie gets HILARIOUS in several moments. I saw this in a packed theater and everyone was laughing at just the right moments whoch i really appreciate. Also one of my favorite jokes is during the credits so dont leave the theater wehn those names roll up. Snd i really enjoyed the portrayal of Bart even more this time around, his character progression feels incredible natural and his journey as a father and as an artist is gery compelling. Of course you know the music is going to be good so uou dont need me to tell you that. I could only imagine was right when Christian movies started getting GOOD and this is a worthy sequel to the first one. Im just worried that theyre gonna cook out a third movie and just ruin EVERYTHING hahaha.
