I wasn't going to write a review until I saw all the negative ones, so just had to chime in and give my 2 cents worth. And give it 9 stars to make up for the low blows from others. I think it's really a solid 8 stars. Well. 8.5. Old fart here who read Interview with The Vampire a thousand years ago when it first came out and loved it. And became a fan of Anne Rice's right away. Who didn't and who isn't!? I also was NOT a fan of the movie with Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt - even though Anne Rice gave it her blessing. This series takes everything special about Rice's books and polishes them and presents them on a silver 21st Century platter for us to enjoy! It seems that everyone on the project is madly in love with it and gives it their best. And we are the benefactors of this beautiful and brilliant series! If you are a Rice Purist, lighten up! Enjoy a wonderful project that will give you hours of quality entertainment!
