As per my title, you really do need to think about what you want from drama. If you are interested in all action, gung-ho violence like independence day or any of the current superhero crap which is flying around now ( no pun intended) THEN THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. If you enjoy characterisation, relationships and human stories, then you will enjoy this. This is far more akin to Signs or possibly some episodes of the walking dead. It really reminded me of the book of World War Z. Sure there are some imperfections and a couple of annoying bits, but the sums of the parts, far outweighs this. So people saying it is "slow " is really confusing to me ,as there is still action in there.
