I don't know what episode/series these people giving bad reviews saw...or maybe they are just annoying... The first episode was sensational! Dynamic, interesting script that creates nerves, anticipation and suspense... real fear! Fear for the characters we JUST met! Beautiful photography... lots of gore and violence that I really wasn't expect... very well done weirdness... but it's HBO, right, people? It wouldn't disappoint in that regard! I can't wait for the next episodes... top-notch horror! PS. The birth scene was GREAT!!! People need to stop being such babies (pun intended). If you can't deal with good gore horror, just don't watch it. But don't come with your fake purity trying to put rules to art!
