A lot of this new Magnum PI series is about the same with Jay Hernandez a new Magnum for the 21st century. There's a Rick and a TC who are played by Zachary Knighton and Stephen Hill. But thank God no one attempted to replace John Hillerman as Higgins. There is a Higgins, but she is Perdita Weeks who partners with Hernandez in weekly cases. The original Magnum introduced a lot of interesting characters and this one looks to be doing the same. And there's the lush Hawaiian scenery and you can't make a bad movie or TV series in Hawaii. I wish this one good luck.
