It's funny to me that some people don't understand TV and build up. However, I do, and I must say, this show has me hooked! The acting is grounded and and visuals are astonishing for a TV show. I can already see that little expense was spared in the making of this. Legitimately each episode is movie quality. Kurt and Wyatt are always fantastic. I also think Anna is someone to watch out for in the future. To me, I think it was important to see the human side of the emergence of these monsters. We got a glimpse of it in the 2014 movie, but since then the human element went off the rails in favor of spectacle. I get it, it's Godzilla, but it begs an answer to how people would actually function in a society after something cataclysmic happens. And massive earth shattering creatures definitely fits that bill. Similar to how we saw humans handle monsters in Pacific Rim. I'm happy to say, from what I've seen, this show delivers. I'm looking forward to see how things evolve in the show!
