I was already afraid that it would be another Apple TV series in the style of Invasion or For All Mankind. So a lot of talk and little substance. With the latter, it's often still within the tolerable limit, but the non stop talking is often so annoying that it's extremely tiring to stay on the ball. But this series is different. It also has its quiet moments, but the pace is very balanced. The effects are at an acceptable level and the green screen is kept within limits. It all looks very good. The first two episodes are very promising. Interesting characters do the rest. I'm really excited about the first two episodes. Don't worry, there really is a difference to the first series mentioned. It doesn't always have to be mindless non-stop action. But if something is told to us in calm tones then it has to be interesting and relevant and also advance the story. That's what "Monarch" does. Highly recommended.
