The cast do a good job with their lines. The story is reasonably well presented, the expositional components are a little clunky. But the story is just painful to watch. The motivations of the main character don't really make sense, and pulled me out of the movie into a comparison with similar anti-natal ideas pushed by leftists. So I stopped the movie about a third of the way in and gave up, as i wanted to be carried along by a story, not dropped into current political discourse by a clumsy movie, and the future seemed to hold only more grimdarkness.
