It does look like it has potential but sadly no charm. Every time I see the mother I get irritated because she's just so totally annoying. Right from the first moment we meet her. She always has to have the upper hand. I really have no interest in seeing a continued battle between mother and son. It's for so-called dramatic effect I'm sure but it isn't dramatic. Just irritating. I prefer shows where the characters are quirky but charming. Not a single character here fits that description. Too bad. I'll keep watching and give it a chance. Mainly to see the two adorable little dogs.
