Although I can't say that I'm blown away by this series, but I most definitely disagree with the negative reviews. This show is just a pretty simple and fun entertainment. Perhaps it's a bit too childish for my grown-up tastes, but people tend to forget that not every superhero story needs to appeal to a "mature" audience. Most superheroes were made for kids, not grumpy adults! Plus, the show is not TOO childish, so even the adults (parents or grown-up Superman fans) may still find it to their liking. It's been a long time since we had such a lighthearted story about Superman, since most of his recent movies/shows/videogames are pretty grim and turn him (or characters heavily inspired by him) into an antihero or even a villain. So I'm pleased to see the trend of "good guy Superman" making a return.
