My adventures with Superman definitely felt like it was trying to set-up the characters, the world and the conflict for the rest of the season during its premiere which may come off as a bit too fast paced however, the show tries to balance its rushing pace with humour and heart. This is not a deconstruction of Superman or a social commentary of what would happen if he appeared in our world but rather a heartfelt story about a boy trying to find his place in the world. The characters are charming, the action is cool and the jokes are funny, this show definitely proves how much we have missed Supes in the animated format on our screens.
