Nancy Drew is for sure something I very vaguely knew about. My mother has read the books and I knew based of that that Nancy Drew novels were mysteries. Other than that knowledge, I didn't know much. Unlike the parallel show of a similar style, Riverdale, this show is iffy at best. Young, not very too known actors and actresses were definitely necessary for this show, because they thought it could flop (it probably won't though because of the general audience being teens and tweenagers). Just the pilot alone set the tone for this series. Dark, edgy, pushing sexuality. The one thing though, is that there was so much that was predictable from the beginning. Aside from that, I felt like the casting was decent. Fairly talented actors and actresses, minus the fact that I wasn't convinced about how old they were supposed to be. There is definitely something to be told in the series but in reality, it just wasn't made for me. Do I personally care for this show that much? Ehh... Will I continue watching it? Probably not. Final conclusion though, don't watch it unless you are a teenager who loves these CW teen dramas or you just enjoy these types of shows to begin with. Not for me
