Outcome 2026 720p WEB-DL x264
This movie is clearly Jonah Hill on an ego trip. In my opinion it would have been a much better movie with less of him. His character of Ira was unbearable to watch. There was one scene only where he actually came off like a human being and even then he was still super ick with some of the things he said. To include more scenes of himself, he brushed some of Reef's most important relationships under the table. The extortion plot is kinda meh, especially the reveal at the end. It's 2026. Does anyone care about stuff like that any longer? On the plus side: Keanu did the best he could with the material given and was believable as Reef. Kyle (Cameron Diaz) and Xander (Matt Bomer) were the highlights of this movie, both actors giving nuanced performances with what little they were given. Other highlights were Susan Lucci and Martin Scorsese, though both their scenes went on too long with too little substance. It would have been nice if the complicated history and friendship between Kyle, Xander, and Reef would have been given more focus over yet another scene of Ira being annoying and over the top. The problem of this movie is that it didn't seem to know what it wanted to be. It handled several storylines at the same time and none to satisfaction. It either should have been longer to give more focus to storylines that worked (Reef and his friends, the ex-girlfriend, etc.) or should have gotten rid of some none needed scenes (most Ira scenes for me). Sorry to any Jonah Hill fans, but on rewatch, I'll definitely fast-forward through his scenes.
