Platonic is a lighthearted, new comedy series on Apple TV+ and is worth your precious streaming watch time. Rogan delivers his trademark comedic touch, and Rose Byrne delivers an outstanding performance as Sylvia, the show's female co-protagonist. While squarely aimed at a younger audience, Platonic's humor seamlessly weaves recent cultural phenomena (pre and post pandemic) into familiar stories about "what if?" relationships people have throughout their lives. While Platonic doesn't necessarily offer seasoned TV viewers a new or revolutionary narrative structure, the humor is fresh and uniquely individual to the show. Rose Byrne is the reason I tune back in week after week, and Seth is the cherry on top. Versus other streaming services, Apple seems to invest in high quality, low quantity content distribution, and this show will entertain the whole family, and keep you laughing for 30 minutes a week.
