Watching episode 1, I was looking forward to this series, but I find myself struggling to watch it. It has distracting costume choices from Jake's overly baggy T-shirt (maybe an attempt to make him look more "dad") and his 3 piece suit in the morgue were both distracting (who even notices that?) His wife (Ruth Negge) is not the right fit. The ambitious attorney (O-T Fagbenle) is also a bad cast. Furthermore, the husband and child of the victim were miscast. We thought he was the landlord. They didn't even try to get it right, or maybe he was the landlord, we were having a hard time paying attention. I hope it gets better.
