When I heard about this movie I figured it would be pretty bad but it's actually a decent film but it's nothing noteworthy to be honest. I feel like first off the movie is really intense at times and Ben is quite intimidating at times throughout the movie and the film really has some nice cinematography which elevates the scares in this film here. Obviously the movie is at its best when Ben is hunting down our characters and just being an absolute menace but the film gets quite messy with a really weird storyline and there's lots of plot holes which just don't get resolved and it really left me scratching my head while watching the film. Most of the characters are pretty forgettable as well for the most part and they make quite literally the stupidest choices ever. Lucy played by Johnny Sequoyah is quite easily like the only character who's actually interesting and I actually really liked her character in this film and some of the family dynamics help the film but some of these moments felt pointless. I'll also give the film some credit because I really loved the soundtrack in this film and it was really eerie at moments which I just absolutely loved so honestly shoutout Adrian Johnston for the soundtrack because I loved what they did here. The movie also has some decent horror throughout the move and some moments felt really cheap but those other moments felt really scary and terrifying at times. I also really liked the practical effects here and they looked absolutely amazing with all of the kills throughout the movie as well. Overall this movie isn't bad but it's a decent time and I think this movie is worth checking out if you're a big horror fan!
