If this show were on Disney or Nickelodeon it would be a hit. In fact, it's written better than most I've seen (and I've got kids so I've seen a lot). But Netflix has poorly marketed this show partly because there's not a big enough gimmick or shocking statement about life or some kind of ... whatever. It's a subtly progressive show that's right up there with the best of kids programming. Is it perfect, no. But the young actors are pretty good and it's well worth showing your 8-12 year old kids. If you can even find it.
