The movie was never great, but it was enjoyable. It's something I can rewatch and still enjoy. This series is far from the movie. The most obvious is the animation. It looks like it was dine by some college kids in their dorm room. It looks really bad. It looks like no time or budget was sunk into the animation. The writing isn't that bad, but it hardly manages more then the occasional chuckle. The only saving grace is the voice acting from several returning actors. That's about as positive I can be. I couldn't stomach more then 2 episodes. It's an akward cringe fest with little entertainment. I honestly do not understand these positive reviews other then love for the voice actors.
