Morena Baccarin is the sheriff, she is quite good in the role and actually has the look of seasoned police. First few episodes seem like it will be a continuous storyline but that particular one involving her daughter gets solved and then we get a new crime every week type of show with some interpersonal drama sprinkled in. Few of the characters are really annoying like the father, although I imagine some older viewers might like him, just imagine typical out of touch hippy knowitall boomer. I will continue watching because Morena is really good as the lead and storylines are okayish so far.
