If you're thinking your getting a good solid cop series, you can forget it. This is really just daytime drama dressed up in a police uniform. It's not the the show doesn't have its good points, the acting is actually pretty good, the cast does a good job with the roles they're given and there's nothing out of place for what's on offer. Ok it's a little cheesy, but it's entertaining enough for casual veiwing. What lets it down is the writing. Oh jees, the ridiculous avenues the story goes down and the policing is just ridiculous. Have these people ever even met a cop? They write this show like they read a wikipedia page on how policing works, some aspects are truly cringeworthy. Oh and lets throw in a bratty misuderstood teen for good measure, that always keeps audiences interested. This actually feels like it should have aired back in he late 80's when audiences were very forgiving and this format for TV viewing was all the rage. Now it just feels lame out of place and almost a parady of a small town cop show. It's not terrible, but it's really only ok for very causual background viewing. If your looking for something to Immerse yourself in, this isn't it. For less discerning viewers only. I'd say watch the first three or four episodes and you'll really get what I mean. If you can get past that with only a eybrow raised and a light chuckle, you'll probably be ok with it. 4/10 from me.
