I get it. There should be a buildup, things should progress from one point to the next. 2 episodes in, it's meandering, ambling, not at all exciting. Elizabeth Moss seems like she's doing her best. And that's it. Directing/Editing/Momentum....whew. Not good. It's not even because it's tough and dark, it's because it's just boring. I haven't read the book, but I can't imagine putting the audience/reader off was a selling point. Disappointed, was really looking forward to this.
