Enjoyed the lead character in The Mick and she definitely has a good comedic presence, but the character here is not just relying on great lines and timing, and there a lot i can identify with as a recovering alcoholic....the arrested development angle, as i had alcohol introduced into my life by a parent, as a means of control, when i was 11. Im now 50 and still learning how to be an adult...so i can identify with the character int he 2 episodes ive seen so far.... Pay no mind to the people on here who spend their days writing neg reviews who have so little in their lives they like tearing others down Do the people who complain about "woke, BLM and LBGTQ" across IMDB reviews not realise theyre racist and homophobes? If you complain about these things, that means youre anti...its that simple... Building people up is harder and takes effort....
