Space Time 2025 1080p WEB-DL DDP5.1 x264
Space/Time is a fast moving time travel movie with a solid idea and strong presentation, even if it never fully lands emotionally. The story offers an interesting take on time travel that stays close to the present day and focuses on modern issues. It leans into the familiar idea that changing the past will destroy the future. The concept works, but it does not break new ground. The pacing is strong and the film moves quickly, though once the time travel starts you do need to pay attention or things can get a little confusing. The performances are pretty good, especially the dynamic between the two leads. Both characters want the same outcome, but they go about it in very different ways, which creates most of the character tension. Where this fell short for me was tone and emotional impact. Until the final third, the looming climate change angle felt more abstract than urgent. I never quite felt the stakes the movie was implying. Visually the film looks great. Clean, futuristic, and never cheap. The lighting and blocking are strong, and the effects look especially good for a non Hollywood production that spent years in post production. The score is excellent and helps sell the scale of the story. If you are a sci fi fan, or especially a Doctor Who fan, this is still a solid watch. IMDb has it at a 6.4 For me, it lands at a 6 out of 10 Middle of the Morgue Right or wrong, weak or strong, these are my opinions.
