So sad to see the wonderful Star Trek franchise been dragged under by ugly Hollywood politics being injected into the show. It's simply not needed, the show would be far more successful without it. You only have to look at the first two episodes of Season 2 to see how good it can be when there isn't heavy handed politics screaming out of the screen and wanting to slap you on the cheek. But this seems to be the Hollywood way if the Oscars are anything to go by. By Season 2 episode 4 though its beggars belief that they manage to force in illegal immigration, race, climate and toxic feminist politics all in one episode. I have been around since the original Star Trek episodes so know how Gene did light touch agenda but the current seasons have just become ugly sermons. Shame, it could have been great but instead it just lost another viewing household. Sadly there will be a generation of children that wont even know or care about Star Trek. 2/10.
