Stargirl is a good show, which after 13 episodes shows that it is not meant to be taken seriously. A pity, because a stronger and darker Stargirl and screenplay would have contributed much more to the quality of the series. * The main character is gentle and nice, but lacks the body, costume and shininess of a brighter and more charismatic Stargirl. * The screenplay, stroryline and development is good throughout, but not special, though, with very good backgrounds. * The VFX is also very good in a not so serious way, without any blood and alike. * The flow of the show and the battles with the villains lack seriousness and depth. I would have liked a taller and more beautiful Stargirl with a real costume, not the comical one shown. It seems to be a show for just teens without dangerous contents and happening, to pass a good time and be entertained. The villains should not have been defeated like that. That's one of the weakest part of the series. If it is renewed for a second season and the near same adventures are shown, then that would be a big mistake. The flow and vibe were good; it was just shallow and unrealistic. A DC series should have depth and darkness to drag its audience. It's a real fact and necessity IMO.
