Sorry. But this Comedy drama is really quite boring and uninteresting. The premise looked worth checking out, but nothing about the writing is particularly original and the characters and situation have nothing new or different to really inspire me to continue watching.. It is just another average drama, which when compared to something like Catastrophe or Fleabag is safe and unoriginal. Maybe New Zealanders find it funny............. " What we do in the Shadows" also came out of NZ, and although obviously completely different to this, that writing was sparky and witty, compared to the predictable plotting and dialogue of this plodding letdown.
