It will not surprise one bit if this show gets cancelled very soon. I love love love the show Chicago Fire. I never miss an ep of it. I felt this show was ABC trying to have a show like that. Let me just say so far it doesn't come even remotely close. I was hooked from the first ep of Chicago Fire but that is not the case with this show. I can't connect to a single character. I am baffled at how the lead actress was chosen. I really don't like to be insulting but Jaina Ortiz needs more acting classes. Maybe she is just finding her footing but I just think this is not her role. She is going to have to improve a whole lot to make this show watchable if she is going to play the lead and good grief the first couple of eps her character is so unprofessional and the first ep I am watching now she is already having sex for the second time halfway through. Really...is that how they think they will grab viewers. Cmon! I'm so sick of this kind of crap. She is so wooden and her emotional range is like a 2, Perhaps she is still finding her footing but she has a long way to go. I cannot connect with her character in the slightest.bit. Any of the other characters are better, any of them at all. Jason George is the best part of the show and also the first captain. This show is a night time soap operam its a mess! There has got to be a better show out there than this. Shonda Rhimes...try again! You truly have missed the mark with this creation!
