So far the show has been really freaky, it's unsettling from the start with the animals seeming off and the family tension, it's a bit gory and it doesn't try to hide it, which I think adds to the discomfort. Love the actors so far. The characters are a fun mix and the setting builds the isolated feeling. It's a very cool concept, it's supposedly based on the book "stinger" (which I know nothing about) and based on the description it's living up to the plot, if not doing it better, I appreciate how its slow build as I prefer psychological horror to slasher flicks and the like. Overall, great show so far.
