It would appear that the ONLY reason this story was made was due to an, old, completely unrelated, connection to the Palace. The crimes had NOTHING to do with the Palace, or her job as an assistant to the Duchess. That is all merely a "marketing ploy" used to pull in viewers. I'm sure there are hundreds of former Palace employees that have committed crimes. Why Jane's story is special, I don't understand. It's largely unremarkable. It was a decent watch.. but not very "new" or "different" than many other stories of a similar nature. Again, the Palace, the Duchess, or her FORMER job have NOTHING to do with anything other than being completely unrelated backstory. If one works for "Burger King" for 10 years.. then LONG after being let go, commits a crime.. that does not make the crime a "Burger King" crime.
