The Moment 2026 480p WEB-DL x264
The Moment was a bit hit and miss for me. I love Charli and her music, but I do wonder how people who have little to no idea about her would get on with this film. I felt like a lot of impact and enjoyment perhaps came from knowing about her and needing some context. For me it was fine, but interesting to see how others engaged with it. I also thought that what this film was trying to say was also hit and miss. Some of its messages had zero subtlety, some felt hypocritical, some were interesting and complex. Lots to get stuck into one way or the other. The Moment also does a good job of being pretty funny in parts. I wasn't expecting to laugh out loud as much as I did. I was also pleasantly surprised by Charli as an actress, and there were plenty of other good performances too, particularly Alexander Skarsgaard. I think maybe my ultimate assessment would be that this film was just a little messy. It felt like they put a load of ideas on a mood board, some good, some bad, and didn't quite know how to fit them all together. Still, if you're a fan of Charli and want a bit of an insight into the life of a pop star, you'll find plenty of entertainment here.
