I've had high hopes for the Rise of Merlin for a while so I hung in there for the third episode even though the first two were a little over the top and unbelievable. And my patience paid off. Episode three is where it gets good and I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. Even in the first two episodes the character Taliesin is well done and intriguing. The first two episodes are necessary backstory, but because of that they feel rushed and a little outlandish. I would say it's worth the investment. It's a 7 for now but I could see it becoming an 8. The cinematography of the land is beautiful.
