There always seems to be so much hate from an old generation that assumes everything was better when they were younger. It was only better because you were probably a lot happier when you were a care free child. This isn't a show for a nostalgic adult to relieve some of his youth, this is something for the next generation to enjoy and create memories of their own. I was born in the 70's and I loved the original and I have fond memories of lots of films back then. My son is now 10 and he has absolutely loved this and I have loved watching it with him! I will definitely be watching the rest of the series.
