The premise is similar to Emily in Paris where an American moves to a European country for work and to see and live lives they watched in movies after a recent breakup. I was expecting a slightly darker, wittier, and more authentic version of Emily in Paris, and I was sorely mistaken. Just like Lena's other shows. This one fails to provide a likeable main character. Her coworkers are also insufferable. The dialogue fails to be witty, funny or even engaging. They try and make it awkward to make it "real". However, the result is that akin of a table read. The main character and her love interest have zero chemistry.
