Loved the movie, & was hopeful for the show; which ended up feeling rushed & undeveloped. The acting, as a result felt flat, like they were all going through the motions. No real chemistry was formed between the characters. The dialogue was predictable as a result. Perhaps a 2 hr. Intro show would have helped. The cover company was cute, but again, it all went by so fast the entrance, & cover idea got lost. By the end I wasn't sure what I had seen. The actors all seemed to be trying hard to bring this show to life, but perhaps they tried too hard. Perhaps the best parts, with pacing, was left on the cutting room floor. I will watch ep. 2 out of curiosity. I would like to see if they find continuity with an enjoyable tempo that can be followed.
